This varies company to company. Some companies will require all items to be ready to transport as is upon arrival. Others will have additional fees for this service while True North Movers will assist with the assembly or disassembly of most household items or furniture. Most moving companies that are willing to provide this service will have some limitations on what they will take apart based on various liability reasons.
The most common items that moving companies won’t assemble/disassemble are; Cribs, Gym Equipment, Pianos, Appliances, and anything attached to the structure of the residence (Mounted TVs for example)
